INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
LINDY HOP – Intermediate Level
You already have a solid foundation of steps and rhythms. You dance comfortably in 6- and 8-count patterns, and you know figures such as swing out, circle, tuck turn, and Charleston. You feel confident in social dancing and can adapt to different partners and tempos. You’re looking to improve your technique, musicality, and enrich your repertoire.
SOLO JAZZ – Intermediate Level
You know and can confidently perform classic steps (Susie Q, Apple Jack, Fall Off the Log, Boogie Back…) and you’re familiar with routines such as the Shim Sham. You want to work on musical connection, coordination, and developing your own style.
BALBOA – Intermediate Level
You master the basics of Pure Bal and Bal-Swing: out & ins, lollies, swivels, and throwouts. You already dance in social events and feel comfortable keeping the rhythm at medium to fast tempos. You want to gain fluency, strengthen your connection, and learn new variations.
ADVANCED LEVEL

You have strong command of rhythm, structure, and complex figures, and you’re interested in refining your technique, style, and creativity. You can easily adapt to different levels, styles, and tempos, including faster ones.
SOLO JAZZ – Advanced Level

Find your level, enjoy the rhythm!
To make sure everyone enjoys the festival to the fullest, we kindly ask you to sign up for the level that truly matches your experience. It’s not about competing or proving anything, but about ensuring that you and your fellow dancers can learn, have fun, and grow together.
Joining a level that is too advanced for you may leave you feeling frustrated and, unintentionally, could also affect the flow of the group.
On the other hand, if you choose the right level, you’ll be able to strengthen your technique, improve your connection, and truly enjoy the learning process.
Remember: going back to the basics is a sign of commitment to dance, not a lack of skill.
Even the best dancers return to the fundamentals time and again!
If you’re unsure, talk to the organizers. We’re here to help you find your ideal spot!
